How to Go On: The Choral Works of Dale Trumbore

Picture

Learn more about the 8-movement secular requiem "How to Go On" as well as the creative process behind the album.

What is "How to Go On"?

"How to Go On" is a 35-minute, eight-movement secular work for virtuosic a cappella chorus. This piece finds beauty and catharsis in the embrace of everyday life, setting to music the words of three living poets: Barbara Crooker,
Amy Fleury, and Laura Foley. How to Go On is a meditation on life and loss, a secular exploration of our relationship to mortality.
