Irvine, CA - Choral Arts Initiative is thrilled to announce its invitation to perform at the Western Division American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Conference, held next March 2024 in Pasadena, California. This invitation marks a significant achievement for Choral Arts Initiative, which has gained recognition as a champion of new choral music.
The Western Division ACDA conference brings together choral conductors, composers, and singers from across the Western United States. The conference is an opportunity for choral groups to showcase their talents and network with other professionals in the field.
Choral Arts Initiative is a non-profit choral organization based in Irvine, California. The group is comprised of auditioned singers from diverse backgrounds who share a passion for choral music. Under the artistic direction of Dr. Brandon Elliott, Choral Arts Initiative has established a reputation for excellence in performance, innovative programming, and community engagement, as well as upholding their standards for diversity and showcasing living composers.

Choral Arts Initiative's performance at the Western Division ACDA conference will feature works by living composers comprising multiple world premieres that explores becoming and belonging as part of the conference's overall theme, "One Voice, One Song." The program will showcase the group's versatility, adventurous programming, range, and technical prowess.
The Western Division ACDA conference will occur from March 6-9, 2024, in Pasadena, California. Choral Arts Initiative’s performance will occur on March 7, 2024 at 8:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Pasadena.
