Choral Arts Initiative has commissioned Dale Trumbore for a choral work to be premiered July 19, 2014!

We are thrilled to announce that we have selected Dale Trumbore to fulfill our very first commissioned work!  Our Music Director, Brandon, and Dale have been collaborating since November about the text, style, and overall concept of the piece.  We hope you will join us in our excitement to bring a new piece of choral music to life!  Dale writes:
"I am absolutely thrilled to be writing a new piece for Choral Arts Initiative! When Brandon reached out to me about the commission, CAI was already on my radar as a chorus to watch: a group of skillful singers performing invigorating new repertoire. While I'm in the earliest stages of writing I am Music for this group, I am hopeful that it will reflect and showcase Choral Arts Initiative's exceptional capabilities and ambitious spirit."

This commission simply would not happen without the continued support from our CAI Patron's CircleBusiness Sponsors, friends, family, and other supporters.  You are all helping fuel our Mission & Vision to "work in partnership with composers and the community" and to "foster and promote both emerging and established repertoire."  We're grateful that you trusted us to meet the Mission & Vision that we set forth.  This is only the first of many commissions to come!

Please join us in giving Dale Trumbore a warm welcome!  This is your commission!
