We all have so much to be thankful for today. In less than a year of operation, we are already fortunate to have many successes to celebrate, and accomplishments to be thankful for. However, this letter doesn’t intend to share additional updates or successes. I’m writing to you today to thank you: our family of supporters.
You have all helped us from the very beginning. Each of you contributed selflessly to help us get started — some by providing monetary gifts, some by offering their professional services or help, and others by simply saying “I support you.” Regardless of how you’ve helped us, the fact is that you did indeed help.
What a strong testament that is to the power of our community. You, our community of supporters, have come together to help us create something more than we could possibly do alone. After all, that is what a choir is: a community of sound. A community of individuals who come together to create an art more beautiful and more powerful than any individual human being could possibly create alone.
So on this Thanksgiving day, I want to personally thank you on behalf of the entire Choral Arts Initiative family. We thank you for your generosity, for your unconditional support, and for having faith in our ability to bring great choral music to our community and beyond for years to come.
You are the reason we sing and continue to sing.
